Gas Safety Certificates for Caravan Holiday Homes …
Are you up to date?
All caravan holiday homes should be issued with an annual gas safety record to keep them in a safe and efficient condition (this is a legal requirement for holiday homes that are sub-let; this also applies to those owners who allow friends and family to use their holiday home)
This work must only be carried out by a gas installer who is CORGI (the Council for Registered Gas Installers) registered and carries an I.D. card covering their competence. Always ask for a Gas Safety Inspection Record form to be provided for the work carried out.
With L.Bryan Gas Services we can ensure that this annual inspection includes;
• Ventilation check (air inlets are clear and adequate)
• Flue check (smoke spillage test)
• Appliance safety devices are working correctly
• Appliances are safe for further use
• A check for gas leaks and condition of pipe work and hoses
• Issue of annual landlord gas safety certificate
We can carry out this important procedure for only £30!
Failure to ensure your holiday homes meet the legal requirements can result in carbon monoxide poisoning or asphyxiation which can be caused by a combination of circumstances, usually involving two or more of the following factors:
• Inadequate ventilation (permanent air inlets)
• Unsatisfactory flueing
• Poor appliance performance
• User interference
• Lack of routine maintenance
